A Prophetic well from the waters of which the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace be upon him, performed ablution and drank. It is reported that the Messenger of Allah requested that his body be washed with water from this well after his passing.
Ghars Well is one of the historical sites linked to the biography of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). It is in Al-Awali District, on Qurban Road, south of the Prophet’s Mosque. It is 1500 meters to the northeast of the Quba Mosque. The well is lined with basalt stones and is surrounded by building foundations.

احدى المعالم التاريخية المرتبطة بسيرة النبي ﷺ، تقع في حي العوالي على طريق "قربان"، جنوب الحرم النبوي الشريف، وتبعد عن مسجد قباء 1500 متر إلى جهة الشمال الشرقي. وهي بئر مطوية بالحجارة البازلتية بجوارها أساسات لبعض المباني. وتذكر المصادر التاريخية أن بئر غرس حفرها مالك بن النحاط، وهو جد سَعْد بْن خَيْثَمَة بْن الحارث بْن مَالِك بن النحاط -رضي الله عنه- الذي نزل رسول الله ﷺ بداره عند قدومه إلى المدينة مهاجراً من مكة.

A tour around the Battle of Uhud area and a narration of its events
