Al-Fasah Mosque (One of the Prophetic Mosques)
Al-Fasah Mosque, also known as Al-Faseeh Mosque or Uhud Mosque, is located in Medina, at the edge of the valley leading to Al-Mihraas, known as Sha'b Al-Jarrar or Sha'b Harun, south of the cave (Ghar Uhud), approximately 200 meters away from it.
Only a small portion of the mosque remains today. Historians have referred to it as Al-Fasah Mosque. It is rectangular in shape, measuring about 6 meters in length, 4 meters in width, and 2 meters in height, with walls about 1 meter thick. The mosque was built using stone and gypsum, and it has undergone several restorations over time.
The books of Seerah (Prophetic biography) mention that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prayed at this mosque in Sha'b Al-Jarrar, adjacent to Mount Uhud, after the conclusion of the Battle of Uhud.
